I’m writing some software for a crazy device that has 18 bit 666 RGB pixel format. I’ve got to write new blitters for this since it is so bizarre. Normally, you’d have 24 bit 888 RGB or BGR pixel format which is easier to deal with because it’s a byte per color, but with this device, I’ve got to do masking and bitshifting in order for the colors to display right. It’s inefficient and…
<mumble> oh. Oh. OH! bitter
I’m bitter about blitters. Does that count? No? Okay.
Yes, I think Obama and Hillary and deceptive fools. I am frustrated that out of a country of 300+ million, we’ve just come up with McCain, Obama and Hillarity as our best and brightest. Sad, really.

yes I am bitter.
After all the defenses I have made to make Bush and Cheney my moral supermen, they have disappointed me and are actually American and World policy failures and colossal immoral criminals. All 7 years of my defense are going down the drain as the truth confronts me anew each day, and criminal acts bubble to the surface. I’m so sick that I supported this regime,a nd now yes, I am more than bitter. I make rockets and bombs for a living so I am part of the military industrial congressional complex and I really need this job, now it may all be over if we can’t continue to steamroll countries for their natural resources. This makes me bitter

Why:
- I believe what politicians tell me
- I am hated for my gender, class, skin color, and good looks
- Rarely do I meet an equal of my intellectual standing
- Racist preachers incite hatred
- Socialists strive to eliminate my liberties
- Self-pity is an epidemic

I am bitter because as a law abiding gun owner I’m made to be the whipping boy for every crime committed. And I’m bitter because politicians like Obama, who hates guns, suddenly thinks we’re OK. Sort of. Heck, even Hillary went duck hunting, so that makes her a ‘good ol’ gal’. (She should have gone Bill hunting, but that’s off topic.) Next Obama and Hillary will be telling us how they shop at Wal Mart, especially the sporting goods section. I’m bitter when scary words like “semi-automatic” is drummed up to be something evil, when it’s simply a self-loading gun which has used the same basic mechanisms in some cases for over 100 years now. I’m bitter when a black man can side with racists and not get called on it by the major media, who would crucify a white man in the same circumstance. I’m bitter for having to pay a significant amount of my income to support illegal aliens. I’m bitter because the three we’re left with running for president ain’t worth their weight in skunk cabbage.

I must confess — I wasn’t at all bitter until I wandered over to this site and realized that somewhere along the way America became a nation of pessimists who seem to relish in complaining longer and louder than the next poor bloke. Read the rest of this entry »

I’m bitter because:
- the mill closed
- a crazy Chicago minister thinks I should give up my daughter’s seat at Princeton for a wealthy affirmative action candidate instead of a student from an economically impacted region
- Obama wants to deny me the human right of self-defense against a meth crazed PCB addict breaking into my trailer home. If I can’t keep an assembled loaded 355 Magnum Pistol (feeling lucky punk), there’s no way I have a chance to survive a meth zombie attack
- those crazy candidates (even Snort-a-Coke-Obama) refuse to legalize drugs
- a whole hood of bitter people seem to think my bitter persecuted Irish-Armenian butt owes them something even though my ancestors survive British potatoe famine starvation genocide against my Irish ancestors and Turkish genocide/pograms against my Armenian ancestors
- our troops remain in Japan, Germany, Italy, etc - 63-years after we defeated the Axis Powers during WWII
- our troops remain in Korea - 53-years after Korea War hostilities sorta-kinda-ended
- Hot Head McCain wants to take away my First Amendment Rights to protest against a politician via TV ads a few days before an election
- no one recognizes my human right to reproduce … sure I’m an unwashed, over-weight bald high-school drop out … but shouldn’t one of those campaign volunteer college co-ed chicks let me have my way with here … HUMAN RIGHTS !!!
- Professional Sports Teams play on astro-turf instead of natural grass

Frustration is something that seems temporary to me - for example when the computer freezes up or when there’re unexpected traffic snarls keeping you from being on time for that important appointment. Bitterness feels more like an emotion that has deepened inside of your physical and mental realms. Read the rest of this entry »
