bitter and disappointed
I am bitter that my home town in upstate NY holds little or no hope for a good job. I am bitter that we cannot speak or offer differing opinions without being accused of being a right-wing extremist or involved in Un-American activities. I am bitter that truth no longer seems to matter. When the political pundits and talking heads can say, yes, I agree, this is a fact, but it is irrelevant because it is bad politics. I am bitter that our men and women are being asked to participate in torture. I am bitter that my taxes and that of every other hard working American are being so blatantly wasted. I am bitter that our brave men and women are being discharged when they need help, not a pink slip. I am bitter that the VA is not making an effort to assure that our wounded soldiers are able to cast their vote. What exactly were they fighting for?
